Blakeman for New York – Text Message Terms & Conditions

By requesting, joining, agreeing to, enrolling in, signing up for, acknowledging, or otherwise consenting to receive one or more text messages from Blakeman for New York (“Campaign,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) through the Campaign’s messaging platform (“Platform”), you agree to these Text Message Terms & Conditions (“Opt-In”).

Opting In
By opting in, you authorize Blakeman for New York to use an autodialer or non-autodialer technology to send text messages to the mobile phone number associated with your Opt-In (including the number provided on a website form, donation form, event sign-up, paper form, or the number from which you send an opt-in confirmation). You authorize the Campaign to send informational, fundraising, advocacy, and other campaign-related messages, including donation requests.

Opting in is not required as a condition of making a donation, volunteering, or engaging with the Campaign. You confirm that you are the subscriber or customary user of the mobile number provided and that you are authorized to consent to receive messages at that number. You consent to the use of an electronic record to document your Opt-In. You may also receive welcome or administrative messages, including messages confirming your consent.

About the Text Message Service and Opting Out
Message and data rates may apply. You must have a wireless device capable of two-way messaging, be using a participating wireless carrier, and have an active text messaging plan. Not all carriers support this service.

Message frequency may vary. Blakeman for New York may suspend or terminate the text messaging program or your participation at any time without notice. Opt-out requests will generate a confirmation message.

You may opt out at any time by texting STOP, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or QUIT. For help, text HELP. Any other method of opting out is not considered a reasonable means of revoking consent. You may receive an additional message confirming your opt-out.

Age Restrictions
You may not use or engage with the Platform if you are under thirteen (13) years of age. If you are between thirteen (13) and eighteen (18) years of age, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian. By engaging with the Platform, you represent that you meet these age requirements and are permitted under applicable law to participate.
